Constellating dreams is a process by which the dream symbols and their relationship to each other move and unfold as they are represented in the Field. Constellating a dream can bring insight and movement to recurring (stuck) dream themes, can bring resolution to hidden tensions encoded in the dream, and can reveal healing movements of the psyche and broader energy field. If we view dreams as messages from the subconscious, working with Dream Constellations can help us decode the message and facilitate the movement from subconscious to conscious awareness, and from conscious awareness to some form of resolution or new understanding. Through the constellation the dream will transform itself into a new “image” that reflects this movement of the psyche.

In a Dream Constellation session you bring a dream that has reoccurring thematic content, is emotionally charged, or otherwise just makes an impression (strange elements, extreme content, nightmares, you’re just curious about it). We constellate the dream by giving different dream elements physical representations in the field. Then we see what happens – how do they interact, what dynamics emerge, what stands out. This process often illuminates aspects of the dream that are not otherwise readily apparent. There is often a healing element to dreams, and when these occur in a constellation the healing process can sometimes be facilitated.

For scheduling purposes, a “short dream” would be 1-10 sentences or so when transcribed. Anything longer than that probably requires more time and the longer appointment should be scheduled.

For the appointment, write down your dream as soon as you wake up in the present tense (“I’m walking down a street and…”). Bring the transcript to your appointment.
